BJP MP and Minister of State Rao Inderjit Singh is advocating for greater representation of the Ahirwal region in the upcoming Cabinet, following his influential role in securing 11 seats for the party. Celebrations are underway at his residence, Rampura House, Rewari, where his daughter Arti Rao’s victory in Ateli is being hailed as a significant achievement.

Arti Rao, who won by a margin of 3,085 votes, expressed her gratitude to the people for choosing her as their voice. This marks her entry into politics as the third generation from Rampura House. Her victory, along with the success of 10 other candidates backed by Rao Inderjit, underscores his significant influence in the region.

Rao Inderjit emphasised the need for more powerful representation from Ahirwal in the state cabinet, citing the region’s unwavering support for BJP over three consecutive terms. Senior party leaders indicate that Arti Rao is in line for a prominent Cabinet berth in Haryana, while Rao Inderjit himself is eyeing elevation in the Modi cabinet.

The victory in Rewari is particularly notable, with Laxman Singh Yadav, backed by Rao Inderjit, defeating Congress leader Chiranjeev Rao by a substantial margin of 28,761 votes. This triumph has bolstered Rao Inderjit’s supremacy, especially given the defeat of his in-party rival Dr Abhey Singh Yadav.
