Yamunanagar MLA Ghanshyam Dass Arora raised several issues related to his Yamunanagar Assembly constituency during the monsoon session of the Vidhan Sabha.

He raised the issue of fly ash of thermal power plant, Yamunanagar, saying that the people of Ratanpura village were very troubled due to the fly ash. He said the residents of Ratanpura village were demanding that their village be shifted to some other place.

He further said the demand of the people of Ratanpura village should be considered sympathetically. He said a bridge should be constructed over the Yamuna near Ghodon Pipli and Tapu Majri villages of his constituency.

He added that a small power generating unit should be established in those villages, so that villagers could get 24-hour power supply. The MLA said the Yamunanagar city area should be made cattle-free and monkey free.

He said the sewerage, drainage and water supply system should be improved in the city. He further said the requirement of sanitation workers should be fulfilled in the municipal corporation and Civil hospital, Yamunanagar.

The MLA said the medical college being built in Panjupur village should be connected to a four-lane road, so that people did not have to face any problem in reaching the medical college.

“I am continuously raising the issues of development of my Assembly constituency in the Haryana Assembly and trying to provide relief to the people by getting them resolved through the Haryana Government,” said MLA Arora.
