“Officers must start working on the agenda points before the meeting and ensure timely submission of their action-taken reports,” said the DC.

He directed the officers to prepare short-term and long-term projects to strengthen road network in the district.

Gupta issued strict instructions to the NHAI officials to ensure that potholes on the road along Sir Chhotu Ram Chowk in Sampla are filled by August 27 evening.

“Signboards must also be installed within 15 days. Potholes on the service lane along the under-construction flyover at Kharawar must be filled immediately,” he told the officials.

The DC also directed the NHAI officials to ensure that all toll lanes remain open and the residents of nearby villages are provided toll-fee concessions as per norms, with the list of eligible villages displayed publicly.

He directed the Municipal Corporation and PWD officials to resolve the waterlogging problem on Delhi bypass.

The Deputy Commissioner further directed the relevant departments to promptly undertake road repairs in all affected areas.
