“Our commitment is to serve every section of society and ensure the state’s prosperity and development. The BJP government is working with the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’, focusing on development, education, healthcare and safety for all,” she said, stating that good governance was the priority.

During the hearing, residents raised issues pertaining to pothole-ridden roads, sewer cleaning, malfunctioning streetlights, and encroachments. The Mayor listened to each complaint, and instructed officials to take necessary steps for immediate redressal.

“I have directed officials to ensure that all public grievances are addressed at the earliest. Developmental works should be completed on priority, and no task should be left incomplete,” said Gupta. “The state government is committed to development, and has no shortage of funds for such works.”
