Chhoti Line is one of the busiest roads of Yamunanagar and Jagadhri. Several stretches of this road are in a poor state in Jagadhri area. Daily commuters have to face a lot of problems in reaching their destinations. The Municipal Corporation should repair the damaged stretches at the earliest keeping in view the problems being faced by the people.

Traffic police should penalise violators

Students of a number of schools in Yamunanagar and Jagadhri park their

two-wheelers on the metalled area of roads causing huge inconvenience to motorists and pedestrians. This problem causes traffic jams on several roads in twin cities every day. Traffic police should take strict action against violators.

Stray animals a common sight in K’shetra

Herds of stray animals roaming about in the city have have become a common sight in the city, especially near heaps of garbage in residential places. These animals keep disrupting traffic movement on the roads, besides becoming a major reason behind mishaps. The authorities of the Municipal Corporation should take concrete steps to solve this problem.
