“The administration will take every possible step to provide clean drinking water to every household. Old and damaged water pipelines will be replaced. The villagers have been asked to obtain only authorised water connections through the Public Health Engineering Department to prevent water contamination,” said the DC.

He also mentioned that the Department of Development and Panchayats would soon begin the construction of the village perimetre road (phirni) and set up a proper drainage system. Strict action and fines would be imposed on anyone found discharging sewage or toilet waste at unauthorised locations, he added.

The DC urged the villagers to use electricity responsibly and refrain from any form of power theft. “Special attention will be given to improve sports and recreational facilities for the youth,” he added.
