The Rohtak police authorities have asked all autorickshaw operators in the district to wear grey uniform from October 5. The autorickshaw operators have also been told to wear small plates bearing their licence numbers on their shirt pockets.

The police authorities have warned them that legal action would be taken against autorickshaw operators found driving their vehicle without uniform. As per an official statement issued by the Police Department, the district police authorities organised a meeting with the office-bearers and other representatives of autorickshaw operators’ unions, during which the said instructions were given to them.
