Vaish Mahila Mahavidyalaya has clinched the trophy of the inter-college kabaddi championship by defeating Maharani Kishori Jat Kanya Mahavidyalaya (MKJKM), Rohtak, in the final match. Government College (Women), Bahadurgarh, secured the third position while Government College (Women), Rohtak, remained at the fourth position.

Prof Rajendra Garg, Director (Sports), Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, was the chief guest at the concluding ceremony. He gave away trophy and medals to winning teams.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Prof Garg said the MDU authorities were leaving no stone unturned to provide all facilities to budding players to hone their talent in the inter-college and inter-university tournaments.

“Players of the MDU are performing well not only at the national, but also at the international level,” he claimed. Vaish Education Society general secretary Rajendra Bansal, collegium members Madan Lal Gupta and Nitin Gupta, Principal Dr Rashmi Gupta, coach Munni Joon, Dr Surjit Neema and Padma Mittal were also present on the occasion. Praveen Rathi, Bhupendra, Manoj Kumar, Savita, Mamta and Nisha were the part of the jury.
