A local court has asked the police to produce the first husband of one Divya, whose second husband allegedly committed suicide in June. The next hearing on Divya’s bail plea has been fixed for September 17.

Divya’s second husband, Ajay Suhag, aka Magan, of Dobh village in Rohtak district, had allegedly died by suicide after hanging himself from a tree on June 18.

Earlier that day, Suhag had posted a message to his social media account, stating that he was going to end his life as his wife was demanding money for the promotion of her companion, Deepak, a police official in Maharashtra.

Days after the alleged suicide, a video of Divya dancing with Deepak went viral on social media.

Divya and Deepak had applied for anticipatory bail before a Rohtak court, but were denied. Divya was arrested and sent to jail, while Deepak approached the Punjab and Haryana High Court over bail. The high court stayed his arrest, but directed that he join the investigation. Following this, he joined the investigation.
