Deputy Commissioner Dharmender Singh, while reviewing preparations in a meeting with officials at the Mini-Secretariat, directed all departments to ensure timely and proper arrangements for the event. He emphasised the need for quality accommodation and meals for the players, especially ensuring the safety of female athletes at both lodging and competition venues.

He issued directions to the departments concerned to ensure cleanliness, security and availability of basic facilities at competition and accommodation sites. Local officials of the Sports and Youth Affairs Department have been tasked with making arrangements for fresh and hygienic food for all participating athletes.

The DC also instructed the Education Department to coordinate with the Sports Department for accommodation arrangements, and asked Maharshi Dayanand University Sports Director Shakuntala Baniwal to take charge of accommodation and preparations for the netball competitions.

He further directed the Police Department to make adequate security arrangements at accommodation sites and competition venues, especially for female participants. The Transport Department will ensure the availability of sufficient buses to facilitate the transport of players to and from the venues.
