Emphasising the growing demand for English studies, Prof Rana added, “English language and literature has long been a popular choice among students after Class XII. This new programme aims to empower students by nurturing essential life skills, creativity, critical thinking and an appreciation for aesthetics.”

He maintained the carefully curated curriculum includes comprehensive focus on Indian, British and American literature, along with modules in Media Studies, Cultural Studies, Phonetics and Skill Enhancement Courses.

“The programme offers expansive career opportunities for students across sectors such as government, private industry, corporate enterprises, banking and media. Graduates will also be well-equipped to pursue higher studies and research,” Prof Rana added.
