An elderly woman and her daughter-in-law were looted at their home in Sector 1, Rohtak, on Tuesday. CCTV footage showing two men walking away with a bag has surfaced and is being examined by police.

daughter-in-law, Sangeeta, and tied her hands.

The accused reportedly used a rod and a screwdriver to threaten the women before fleeing with cash, jewellery and an iPhone.

In a complaint lodged with the police, Sangeeta has expressed suspicion over their domestic help, Reema, who has been missing since the incident.

Police suspect she may be involved and are currently trying to trace her whereabouts.
