With an aim to beautify the city, Karnal Smart City Limited (KSCL), a company looking after the smart city project, is going to develop an edge landscape in Sector 12.

A sum of Rs 24.46 lakh will be spent on this landscape project, which will have lawns, fencing, specimen trees, mounds of grass, replica of blackbuck made of grass and steel wires, lighting and other attractive features in Sector 12 from petrol pump to the HSVP office.

“Tender has been allotted to a company, which has started work on the project. The deadline of the project is of three months. We are hopeful it will be completed before the deadline,” said Anish Yadav, Deputy Commissioner-cum-CEO- KSCL.

“I have visited site and instructed the agency to complete the project before the deadline,” he said. “The purpose to introduce this project is to beautify dead sites. It will enhance greenery in the city,” he added.
