Haryana Health Minister Arti Singh Rao said hospitals across the state would be upgraded as per requirement.

She informed that approval of approximately Rs 40.4 crore has been granted for the upgrade and construction of hospitals in Mahendragarh and Bahadurgarh.

She informed that the 50-bed hospital in Mahendragarh would be upgraded and reconstructed into a 100-bed hospital. For this, the revised cost of Rs 23 crore has been approved. Similarly, approval of Rs 17.37 crore has been granted to complete the remaining works related to the upgrade of the Civil Hospital in Bahadurgarh.

Arti Singh Rao added that she has directed the department to ensure that any healthcare institution requiring upgrade and eligible for it should be upgraded at the earliest so that people could benefit.
