Chandigarh, February 11

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, who is also chairman of Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board (SMMDSB), Panchkula, has approved Rs 1,114.78 lakh for construction of an old age home on the campus of the SMMDSB in Panchkula.

A spokesman said the old age home would be built by the Public Works (Buildings and Roads) Department in 36 months. The four-storey building will have 19 double-occupancy rooms, two cubicles with two dormitories, two lifts as well as stairs among other things.
