The police have announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh to anyone who provides information about those who were involved in the murder of a 46-year-old property dealer near Gadoli village on the Pataudi road on December 24.

Ravinder Yadav’s body was found near his abandoned car. An FIR was registered at the Section-10 A police station, but the police have failed to make any headway yet.

The body of Ravinder Yadav (46) was found near his car near Gadoli village on the Pataudi road on December 24. His kin met the Police Commissioner seeking immediate arrest of the accused, after which the case was handed over to the crime unit.

Earlier, kin of the victim’s family had met the Police Commissioner seeking immediate arrest of the accused. Following this, the police official handed over the case to the crime unit and announced the cash reward for providing information on the suspects. On January 2, the Manesar panchayat had given a seven-day deadline to the police to arrest the accused.

The panchayat had threatened to block the national highway and hold protests if the police failed to arrest the accused within 10 days. ACP (crime) Preet Pal Singh Sangwan said the accused would soon be arrested.
