Wearing black caps, khaki trousers and full-sleeved white shirts with sleeves rolled up, and carrying wooden staves (dands) on their shoulders, volunteers marched through different localities. Residents showered them with flower petals as they passed. Participants from various age groups joined the programmes, reaffirming their commitment to the nation’s welfare.
In Panipat, path sanchalan and shastra poojan were organised in Sector 18, Sector 11/12, Eight Marla and 12 rural mandals, including Shimla Gujran, Khojkipur, Chhajpur, Babail, Shera, Thermal, Israna, Mandi, Pardhana, Patti Kalyana, Chulkana and Narayana villages.
Speaking at Sector 11/12, Mahender Kansal, Prant Gau Sewa Pramukh, emphasised adopting the Sangh’s five principles of change—Swadeshi, social harmony, family enlightenment, environmental protection and civic duty. In Sector 18, Sah Sanghchalak Sushil Gaur said RSS volunteers were always ready to serve the people in times of natural calamities.
In Sonipat, 63 programmes of shastra poojan and path sanchalan were organised across the district, including in Gohana, Gannaur, Rai, Kundli, Murthal, Khanpur, Mohana and Datauli. Residents welcomed the volunteers with flower petals and chants of Bharat Mata ki Jai.
