Sachin Gupta assumes charge as Rohtak DC

After assuming charge, he discussed ongoing development projects, the district’s sanitation condition, and samadhan camps with senior officials of the district administration.
“Accelerating the pace of development, improving sanitation, expediting administrative work, ensuring effective implementation of government schemes, and the prompt resolution of residents’ complaints will be my priorities,” Gupta said.
He appealed to area residents to contribute towards the progress of the country and the state by performing better in their respective fields.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Narendra Kumar, Zila Parishad Chief Executive Officer Pradeep Kaushik, Sub-Divisional Magistrates Ashish Kumar (Rohtak) and Mukund Tanwar (Meham), City Magistrate Ankit Kumar, and District Revenue Officer Pramod Chahal welcomed the Deputy Commissioner.
Municipal Corporation Commissioner Anand Kumar Sharma, Sampla Sub-Divisional Magistrate Utsav Anand and District Development and Panchayat Officer Rajpal Chahal apprised him of major issues.
An IAS officer of the 2018 batch, Gupta has previously serving as Administrator, Haryana Urban Development Authority, Panchkula, and Additional Director, Panchkula Urban Estate.
The Deputy Commissioner said the district administration would get grievances of residents redressed on priority.
Gupta took information from the officials concerned about waterlogging in the district, and reviewed the arrangements for drainage.
He also reviewed the work being done under MGNREGA and Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) schemes.
