The Saras and craft fairs, as part of the International Gita Mahotsav (IGM)-2024, will begin on the banks of Brahma Sarovar in Kurukshetra on Thursday.

To check the preparations and security arrangements, the Kurukshetra Development Board authorities and police officials inspected the stalls at Brahma Sarovar on Wednesday evening. Craftsmen from various states have started reaching Kurukshetra to showcase their works at the festival.

KDB Chief Executive Officer Pankaj Setia, honorary secretary Upender Singhal and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Nirmal Singh, along with other officials, visited the Brahma Sarovar.

Singhal said, “Governor Bandaru Dattatreya will inaugurate the mahotsav. All preparations have been made and stalls have been allotted to the craftsmen by the board.”
