State Home and Health Minister Anil Vij on Thursday launched the second phase of the Malaria Mukt Mewat (MMM) campaign.

On the occasion, Vij said that after the successful completion of the first round of the campaign, the incidence of the disease in the state had declined by 97 per cent. In the second phase, 1.86 lakh people from 62 villages falling under three primary health centres of Ujina, Sudaka and Bai would be tested. — TNS
