They have been sitting on a dharna on the Jagadhri-Ponta Sahib national highway near Aggrasain Chowk since December 25 in support of their demands, including regularisation, service rules and basic salary on a par with other teachers.

Guest teachers in large numbers from across the state assembled at the dharna place in Jagadhri today.

They raised anti-government slogans and took out a protest march in the evening starting from Aggrasain Chowk to Sapphire hotel.
