Speaking at the closing ceremony of Saras Aajeevika Mela-2025 in Panchkula, the Chief Minister said, “The talent and craftsmanship of our local artisans deserve recognition and respect. When we choose their products, we are not just buying an item — we are supporting livelihoods and nurturing our region’s small entrepreneurs.”
Earlier, Saini visited various stalls put up by women self-help groups, artisans and craftsmen from across the country. Impressed by their creativity, he said, “These women, through their indigenous creations, are contributing to Atmanirbhar Bharat and giving real meaning to the spirit of Vocal for Local.”
On the occasion, the Chief Minister launched two major digital platforms of the Haryana State Rural Livelihood Mission — the Swaapan Digital Gram Bazar Portal and the Sanjha Bazaar Sales Portal.
The Swaapan Digital Gram Bazar Portal is a comprehensive e-commerce platform designed to showcase and sell products made by Haryana’s SHGs globally. With features like online product registration, order tracking and sales monitoring, it aims to expand market outreach and boost the income of rural women.
Similarly, the Sanjha Bazaar Sales Portal will streamline SHG market operations by offering transparent stall allocations, real-time sales data and product performance analytics. It will unify all Sanjha Bazaar activities, including shops at bus stands, village outlets, canteens, Saras Mela stalls and mall kiosks.
