The programme was sponsored by Haryana State Council for Science, Innovation and Technology. Prof Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, Central University of Haryana, Mahendragarh, was the chief guest. Addressing the participants, Prof Tankeshwar said the dream of ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047’ could be fulfilled by youth with new innovations aimed at boosting the economy.
Rs 1 crore Scholarships granted
Yamunanagar: Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Yamunanagar, hosted the JAI Scholarship distribution ceremony. College principal Harinder Singh Kang said it was a momentous occasion to recognise and reward the meritorious students and sports achievers from Guru Nanak Khalsa Group of Institutions, including Guru Nanak Khalsa College Yamunanagar, Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy, Guru Nanak Khalsa Institute of Technology and Management and School of Employability. He said the scholarships amounting to Rs 1 crore were distributed among 550 students. Major Rajinder Singh Bhatti, vice-president of Guru Nanak Khalsa Group of Educational Institutions, was the chief guest.
‘Rang Tarang’ at nissing school
Karnal: The annual function ‘Rang Tarang’ was organised at Brahmanand Public School, Nissing, during which students presented cultural performances. Romi Singla, Chairperson of the local Municipal Council, inaugurated the event. The
top-performing students of the school shared their experiences to guide the other students.
