The Haryana Government today announced one-time settlement (OTS) scheme 2022 for the indebted farmers.

Cooperative Minister Dr Banwari Lal said at a press conference today that Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had announced the scheme for the indebted members of District Agriculture and Land Development Bank (Land Mortgage Bank).

In the scheme announced for the loanee members of the District Primary Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank, 100 per cent rebate in the overdue interest would be provided mainly in the loan account of the deceased borrowers till March 31, 2022. For this, 100% waiver of overdue interest would be provided by the heirs of the deceased borrower on depositing the entire principal amount in the loan account and penalty interest and other expenses would also be waived.
