Dhami was here to inaugurate a cath lab at Miri Piri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Shahabad.

Dhami said, “Amritpal Singh was sworn in as an MP on Friday. He was voted to power by the people and the government should respect the verdict given by the public. He should be released. We have also been making efforts for the release of the ‘Bandi Singhs’. They have completed their sentences and keeping them in jails is a human rights’ violation.”

After inaugurating the cath lab, the SGPC chief said, “It is being observed that people are developing heart-related diseases at a very young age. To provide heart care facility, it was decided to start a cath lab at the Miri Piri Institute in Shahabad. The SGPC is committed to providing all healthcare facilities at the Miri Piri Hospital, and we will also establish a medical college here.”
