Kurukshetra, April 20

A Shahabad teenager pursuing BCom (Finance) degree in Canada has died under mysterious circumstances. The deceased has been identified as Navjot Singh (17).

Navjot left for Canada on September 3 last year and was staying there with his friends. The family received a call from the embassy regarding the death on Monday.

“Navjot was at home for a month due to Covid. We asked embassy officials to bring the body, but were told that they would get back after the cause of death was clear,” said Navjot’s cousin Rajpal Singh Pannu.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
