Chandigarh, August 1
Singer-composer Rocky Mittal, who spiced up the BJP’s election campaign through his audio-visual projects since 2012, has quit the saffron party.
In his resignation letter addressed to PM Modi, copies of which were also sent to BJP president JP Nadda, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, CM Nayab Singh Saini and state BJP chief Mohan Lal Badoli, Mittal alleged that he was continuously being ignored by the party despite his ‘self-less’ work for the party.
Mittal alleged that false cases were registered against him during the past over four years to ‘harass’ him. — TNS
