Sirsa college to be developed as Haryana Institute of Technology

The Chaudhary Devi Lal Engineering College at Panniwala Mota village in Sirsa will soon be developed as the Haryana Institute of Technology (HIT), modeled after the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), according to a state government plan. Prabhjot Singh, Director General of the Directorate of Technical Education, Haryana, visited the college on Thursday and held discussions with officials regarding the addition of advanced facilities. He stated that the institute would be equipped with high-quality computers and updated equipment.

Earlier, the Director General also inspected the Government Polytechnic Institutes (Boys and Girls) in Sirsa. At Chaudhary Devi Lal Engineering College, he reviewed several blocks, including the workshop, library, mechanical block, civil block, agriculture block, EduSat room and all computer labs.

He personally checked the water quality at the water coolers and inspected the condition of the toilets, issuing necessary instructions to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
