Thousands of police personnel will be deployed across the city to ensure public safety.
Superintendent of Police Dr Mayank Gupta held a review meeting with senior officers to finalise arrangements on Monday. He directed officials to maintain a friendly approach with the public,while keeping a close watch on suspicious individuals and ensuring law and order in the city.
Officers in plain clothes will also be stationed in the area, and every movement will be closely monitored. CCTV cameras have been installed along the Chief Minister’s route to enhance surveillance.
Gupta stressed on the importance of smooth traffic flow. He said, “Separate parking arrangements will be made for visitors, and entry points to the city will have security checkpoints. Locals are urged not to enter the city till it was necessary and follow police instructions regarding vehicle movement and parking.”
The police have appealed to the public to cooperate fully with law enforcement on June 11 to ensure the event proceeds safely and without disruption.
