Students of Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU), led by ABVP, held a protest outside the university gate. They burnt an effigy of Pakistan and raised slogans demanding strict action against terrorism. ABVP member Yuvraj Chawla said the attack was religion based and called it highly shameful. He urged the government to take quick action.

The protesting students also said such incidents would harm tourism. “If tourists are attacked like this, no one will want to visit these places,” one student said. They also announced they would submit a memorandum to the Chief Minister during his next visit to Sirsa.

In Dabwali, a condolence meeting was held at Sant Niwas of Shri Gaushala to honour the Pahalgam attack victims. The event was led by Surendra Singla, president of the International Vaishya Mahasammelan (Punjab), and attended by many dignitaries, including national patron Shyam Lal Jindal and social leader Krishna Kumar Nirala.

Speakers condemned the targeting of tourists and appreciated the Central Government’s firm response. They praised the five major steps taken by the government against Pakistan.
