Registrar Prof Ashok Sharma was the special guest, while the rally was organised under the leadership of Prof Umed Singh, CDLU’s Nodal Officer for anti-ragging complaints. Students and faculty from the English Department, Law Department, USGS, besides NCC and NSS volunteers took part in the rally.

Prof Umed Singh stressed that the primary goal of the Anti-Ragging Week is to raise awareness among students about their rights and to empower them to speak up against ragging without fear. Activities planned throughout the week include poster-making, slogan writing, induction programmes and sensitisation sessions.

Following the rally, NSS and NCC coordinators Dr Rohtas and Dr Rachna praised the active role of volunteers in creating a safe environment on the campus. All participants, including students and cadets, took an anti-ragging pledge, vowing to uphold dignity and unity with slogans like “United Against Ragging” and “Ragging-Free Campus, Our Mission”.
