According to the information available, the authorities of District Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Yamunanagar, and HAFED got three FIRs registered on different dates in November against rice miller Sandeep Singla and his wife after short stock of allotted paddy was found in their seven rice mills located in Yamunanagar district.

On the directions of Superintendent of Police Kamaldeep Goyal, a special investigation team (SIT) led by DSP Rajat Gulia has been formed to investigate this case.
