In his complaint, Shishram of Ranoli village in Rewari said, “It was my son Dinesh’s birthday on Friday. I went to his shop to call him so that we could celebrate his birthday together. In the meantime, three youths — Shiv of Jalalpur, Suni Gurjar of Patuhera and Amit Pahalwan of Asalwas — came to the shop and started quarreling with him.”

After a while, they again came in a car, he said. They were accompanied by two motorcycle-borne youths, Sachin Chirhada and Devender, alias Debu Chirhada, Shishram added.

“They again started quarreling with Dinesh over some old enmity. Around 9 pm, Shiv shot my son in the chest. We took him to a hospital, where he was declared dead,” said Dinesh’s father.
