The local office of the Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) has initiated closure action against these units.
Shailendra Arora, Regional Officer of HSPCB, said none of the six units had obtained Consent to Establish or Consent to Operate. The illegal operations were found during a surprise inspection carried out by the joint team, he added.
Earlier too, the team had also identified many such industrial units operating without permission near Asoda village. In response to a recent RTI query, the authorities stated that around 80 units in Bahadurgarh had faced action in recent months for violating pollution regulations.
