Hours after he submitted his resignation, Congress leader from Sonepat, Nikhil Madaan, on Thursday joined the BJP.

Chief Minister Nayab Saini along with Haryana BJP in-charge and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, former CM and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and newly appointed Haryana BJP president Mohan Lal Badoli, who also belongs to Sonepat, were present on the occasion.

Madaan said by staying with the ruling party, he could do better work for Sonepat and that’s why he is joining the BJP. He was given the primary membership by the state BJP president. Saini said the BJP was going to form the next government and Madaan and his supporters would be given due respect in the party.
