During the meeting, there were discussions on proposals for a foot overbridge on NH-44, ramps on the flyover in Gharaunda, widening of service lanes and construction of a bypass near Unchasamana. Officials from the NHAI informed that a revised detailed project report (DPR) was being prepared to address the issue of frequent traffic jams caused by heavy vehicles entering Gharaunda from the Yamuna belt in the wrong direction.

On Meerut road, discussions focused on the proposed flyover at Nagla Chowk, installation of streetlights and construction of service roads near Shekhupura Colony. The officials said that the road was expected to be transferred to NHAI by October, after which work on the flyover and related projects would proceed.

DC Uttam Singh instructed the departments to assess the feasibility of all associated development works before the handover. Proposals for building service lanes alongside Ring Road and linking the elevated road to the upcoming Medical University via Samana–Ganjogarhi Road were also discussed. Under the CM’s announcement, the Barsat bypass project and land demarcation along the drain passing through Barsat and Pundri were reviewed, with instructions issued to revenue officials.
