Kurukshetra, January 24

Bhagwan Singh Chaudhary, a professor at the Department of Geophysics in Kurukshetra University here, was conferred with a special honour at an international conference held at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University (CSMU) in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

The conference was jointly organised by the university and the Indian National Chapter of the International Association of Hydrogeologists.

Prof Chaudhary was awarded for his outstanding contributions in the field of applications of geospatial technology in hydrogeology for empowering and skilling young minds and benefiting the society at large.

Addressing the gathering, Vice-Chancellor Prof Som Nath Sachdeva congratulated Prof Chaudhary, saying it was a matter of pride for the KU fraternity.
