Emotional intelligence, empathy, communication skills, problem-solving attitude and digital expertise are must to ensure success in one’s life and career. This was stated by Varsha Sarkar, Gandhi Fellow and programme manager at Piramal Foundation, while delivering a special lecture at Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) in Rohtak.

The special lecture was part of a career guidance programme organised by the Departments of Journalism and Political Science, in collaboration with the Career Counselling and Placement Cell .

Prof Harish Kumar, Head of the Department of Journalism, shared Mahatma Gandhi’s vision. Prof Rajendra Sharma, Head of the Department of Political Science, exhorted the students to explore career opportunities in the social service sector.
