chandigarh: Haryana is ready to hold Class XII CBSE exams as and when the Centre decides. Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gujjar said the staff on exam duty should be vaccinated before the exams. “We are ready to hold the state board exams for Class XII from June 20. The number of Covid cases are expected to fall by then. Covid protocol should not be a problem. We can similarly hold the CBSE Class XII exams too,” he said.

Dismissing as “impractical” the proposal to ensure vaccination of all students before the exams, he said such a move would delay the exams by at least two months. “Teachers and staff involved in conducting the exams should be vaccinated,” Gujjar stressed.
