The state government has published a notification for the delimitation of wards of the Hisar Municipal Corporation and asked for objections and suggestions from public within 10 days.

The notification issued on Monday stated that any person in respect of the draft notification can submit the objections and suggestions to the Commissioner and Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department, or Director, Urban Local Bodies Department, through the Deputy Commissioner, Hisar, within the specified time. The draft of notification will be taken into consideration by the state government on or after the expiry of a period of 10 days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, together with objections and suggestions, if any, it stated.

The draft of delimitation was approved by the Deputy Commissioner, Hisar, in the ad hoc committee recently and was submitted to the government for approval. However, some former Municipal Corporation members raised objections and met Urban Local Bodies Minister Kamal Gupta on February 15.
