State-level quiz contest organised at CDLU

Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, recently hosted a state-level quiz competition at CV Raman Seminar Hall.

The event was organised by the Department of Political Science under the guidance of the Vice-Chancellor Narsi Ram Bishnoi.

The competition was part of the university’s initiative to engage students in academic activities beyond the classroom and enhance their knowledge and skills.

Registrar Dr Rajesh Bansal, as the chief guest at the event, said in his address that such competitions not only helped in strengthening students’ academic foundations but also offered them an opportunity to evaluate their own abilities.

He said these events also played a crucial role in building the capacity of students to face future challenges in various fields.

The competition was chaired by Rajveer Singh Dalal, Head, Department of Political Science.

He said 19 colleges and universities from across the state participated in the quiz.

The team from Sirsa’s Government National College — Pradeep Kumar, Manoj Kumar and Sonu — bagged the first prize.

The second-place winners were the team from the Department of Law at CDLU — Anil Kumar, Sagar and Raman. The third place was claimed by the team from Ellenabad’s Janata Girls PG College — Neetu, Lucky and Manju.
