Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has announced that Dahina block will get the status of sub-division once the required criteria are met. He further announced that Sub health centres will be constructed in Natheda and Surkhpur villages and primary health centres in Gudiani and Ratnathal villages on availability of land.

He made these announcements addressing a gathering at ‘Thanks Giving’ rally in Kosli town here today. Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh, his daughter and Health Minister Arti Singh Rao and several BJP MLAs were also present on the occasion.

Announcing several other projects, Saini said water works would be constructed in Motalkalan village, a college in Jatusana, renovation of the Bhurthala Distributary, a bridge on the JLN Canal on the way from Luhana village to Khaleta.

He said the problem of waterlogging in the fields in Bas, Pahrajvas and Summa Kheda, Ratnathal and Lilodh would be resolved and the work on Kosli flyover would be done at a fast pace.

The CM also announced Rs 10 crore for the renovation of PWD roads and Rs 5 crore each for school buildings and for strengthening the roads of the Marketing Board in Kosli. He also inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for six major development projects worth over Rs. 23 crore on the occasion.

Rao Inderjit said: “Following the CM’s visit, people here are hopeful that the Kosli region will gain further momentum in terms of development. The Kosli constituency has played a crucial role in securing the formation of the government for the third time in Haryana. This constituency has supported the BJP even during challenging times.”

Kosli MLA Anil Yadav submitted a memorandum to the CM regarding the development works related to the constituency.
