Considering the damage caused to agricultural crops due to the recent hailstorm in various areas of Haryana, the state government has opened the Kshatipurti portal till March 15, to receive the claims of damage to crops from farmers.

A spokesperson said the DCs had also been requested to give necessary publicity in this regard to enable the farmers to upload their claims, as per the amended provision.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
