After the death of former Chief Minister Chaudhary Om Prakash Chautala, questions are being raised about whether the Chautala family will come together again. On the topic, leaders from the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) have started speaking out. Among them is Sunaina Chautala, the head of INLD’s women’s wing, who has criticised the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP).

On Wednesday evening in Sirsa, INLD leaders held a meeting with party workers. While talking to the media, Sunaina responded to a question about the Chautala family uniting. She said, “If two shores can’t meet, why even ask this question?” She blamed others for breaking the family and misleading the party workers. She said the real INLD supporters, who were once with Chaudhary Devi Lal and Om Prakash Chautala, were now returning to the party.

Sunaina claimed that the JJP was formed only to get votes and not to truly serve the people. She said when the JJP workers realised the party joined hands with the BJP, they felt cheated. Now, most of the real workers are back with the INLD and Abhay Chautala. She said the supporters want to bring back the leadership style of Om Prakash Chautala.

Meanwhile, INLD MLA from Rania Arjun Chautala, responding to a statement by former CM and Union Minister Manohar Lal about the Chautala family reuniting, said firmly, “It’s our family, our decision. Why are you interfering? Our elders will make their own decisions.”

Earlier, Ajay Chautala had already made it clear that the INLD and the JJP would never come together. He said, “This chapter is closed. These are two railway tracks that will never meet.” He advised Manohar Lal to focus on his own party instead of worrying about others.

Meanwhile Aditya Devi Lal, INLD MLA from Dabwali and Hisar zone in-charge, said in the worker meeting that the public wanted the INLD to come back to power. He encouraged workers to reconnect with those who had left the party and promote the party’s ideas and plans door to door. He also gave a suggestion to form zones of 10 booths each and work with full dedication.

INLD district president Jasbir Singh Jassa welcomed all party leaders and thanked them. He urged workers to put up party flags at their shops and homes. He also said that only those who can work with dedication should take any position in the party.
