A swimming coach lost his life after his scooty was hit by a vehicle near Balor village flyover in Bahadurgarh town here on Monday night. The vehicle driver fled the spot after the mishap while the police have launched an investigation after registering a case in this respect.

The deceased, identified as Navneet, worked as a swimming coach at a school in Delhi. The accident occurred while Navneet was returning home to Delhi on his scooter from adjoining Bahadurgarh town. The collision was so severe that he reportedly died on the spot, and his scooter was completely damaged.

On receiving information about the accident, the police rushed to the site and sent Navneet’s body to the Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
