Students from the architecture department of Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST), Murthal, participated in an exhibition at the MGMA Art Gallery in Delhi, whic was organised by the Council of Architecture.

The department of architecture presented an innovative project which was focused on the development and social awareness of rural communities. The initiative aims to provide students with practical insights into architecture and design, while also connecting them with underprivileged sections of society and rural environments.

Professor Singh commended the students, saying, “These types of activities inspire young people to become responsible citizens. Students should develop a sense of contribution to society through their education.” He added the university constantly strives to nurture a balance of creativity, technical proficiency, and social responsibility among

Highlighting the broader significance of the project, the Vice-Chancellor said it sends a message that education is not merely a path to a degree but a tool for social change. “Architects must understand the basic needs of society to ensure balanced development in both cities and villages. University students gain real-life experience when they engage with communities,” he added.
