The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram has re-invited the tenders for garbage disposal work at the Bandhwari landfill site after facing glitches in software of the portal designated for inviting the bids.

Confirming this, the Executive Engineer (Swachh Bharat Mission) of the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, Nijesh Kumar, said the MCG had invited tenders on August 13, 2024, for the disposal of legacy waste lying in the garbage disposal plant at Bandhwari. However, due to technical error in the portal, these tenders have now been re-invited by the civic body. The last of inviting the bids is October 4, 2024, he said.

Kumar said the last date for tenders invited on August 13 was September 10, in which, the corporation office received information regarding technical errors through email from two to three firms around 10 am on the last date.
