The Kurukshetra police have booked three unidentified youths for allegedly cutting the hair of a Sikh youth last night.

The victim, who works at a gurdwara, was returning after his duty when the incident took place last evening.

In his complaint to the police, Ratananmol Singh, a resident of Shahabad, stated that he worked at Gurdwara Mardon Sahib and when he was returning on his two-wheeler, three youths on a two-wheeler stopped him and started assaulting him. “They tied me with a rope, cut my hair with a trimmer and took my hair in a bag. They also robbed me of my watch and Rs 300,” he alleged.

A case has been registered at Shahabad police station and the police have launched an investigation.

Meanwhile, members of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee has condemned the incident and sought strict action against the accused.
