Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini reached the Samadhi Mandir on the last day of the annual three-day fair organised by Mahant Baba Mastnath Mathh here on Saturday in memory of Baba Mastnath and offered floral tributes to him. Speaking on the occasion, Saini said Mahant Baba Mastnath showed a new direction to society and we have to move forward by following the path shown by him.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the CM reached the wrestling arena and inaugurated the match of wrestlers Reetika Hooda and Nitika and announced to give a reward of Rs 1 lakh each to both players from his voluntary fund.

He also congratulated Reetika Hooda and Nitika for their good performance and said that in wrestling, one player wins and the other player gets the challenge to perform better in future. He also wished the audience on the annual festival organised in the memory of Mahant Baba Mastnath. He said all works related to Baba Mastnath Math will be completed by the government.

Earlier, on reaching the palace located on the Mathh premises, Mahant Balak Nath welcomed the Chief Minister and honoured him by presenting a memento and a shawl.

While talking to the media on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that he will present the state Budget in the Vidhan Sabha on March 17. This Budget will be presented keeping in mind the welfare of all sections.

Cooperation Minister Dr Arvind Kumar Sharma, Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda, State Minister Rajesh Nagar, BJP State President Mohan Lal Badoli along with other officials were present on the occasion.
