The Nuh police has arrested three persons who had committed cybercrimes in different states of the country. The police have recovered SIM cards, cash and a motorcycle from their possession.

According to the police, the arrested accused were identified as Akil (24), Jahir (22), residents of Bicchhor village, and Asif, a resident of Hathangaon in Nuh district.

The police said investigation by the cybercrime portal revealed that a total of Rs 17,000 was defrauded in Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka and Delhi through the mobile numbers of the accused. Akil admitted that he had destroyed four fake SIM cards used in the crime.

A spokesperson of the Nuh police said cases have been registered against the three accused under various sections at the cyber police station. The accused were produced in a city court today and sent to judicial custody, he added.
